Abstract: Cannabis Sativa L. Produces A Plethora Of Molecules With Therapeutic Potential, Among Which Phytocannabinoids Stand Out As Significant Components. The Search For Endogenous Mediators Of Cannabis Effects In Animals Has Led To The Elucidation Of Cannabinoid Receptors CB1/CB2, Their Endogenous Ligands (endocannabinoids), And Their Enzymes Responsible For Their Synthesis And Degradation, Collectively Termed ‘’Endocannabinoid System (ECS).
